Under the Delivery Options tab, you can opt in and out of services that Gateway Supply Chain provides.
Value Delivery is when you as a store owner is required to drop off your customers shipment to one of the Gateway Supply Chain designation locations. From here the shipment will be moved thru the Gateway Supply Chain network to your customer at a competitive shipping rate. In order to be eligible for Value Delivery, one of your warehouses/origin destination of the shipment needs with be within 75 miles of the Gateway designated location. You will be notified in the confirmation email of where the shipment needs to be dropped off to.
By default this option is deselected in the Shopify app. If you would like to have this option available to your customers, select the checkbox next to Value Delivery and this option will be made available to your customers if your warehouse locations are eligible.
When a shipping rate is shown on your checkout/cart page it will show with Gateway Shipping Option #1, Gateway Shipping Option #2, etc. If you do not want the customer to see the word “Gateway” you can put in your store name or any other verbiage of your choice to replace the word Gateway. By default, this field is set to blank and if no text is entered here term “Gateway” will be used.
Once you have gone thru all the steps above, your Gateway Supply Chain is ready for use. When a customer tries to rate a product for shipping on your Shopify store it will now receive Gateway Supply Chain rates.
Default Pick UP Details for Fulfillment
By default the pick up date for your shipment is set to be picked up the next business day at the first available appointment slot. However, if you would like to set your pick up date for all shipments manually you can disable this feature by unchecking the box below. Please be aware that if you disable this feature and do not provide a pick update and time for your shipment upon fulfillment, the shipment request will be ignored.
